An Evolutionary Mechanism based Novel Clustering Algorithm for Blockchain environment to save energy
(一種基于進(jìn)化機(jī)制的區(qū)塊鏈環(huán)境節(jié)能新聚類算法)
Abstract:
The heterogeneous networks that support distributed databases in the blockchain environment have instability, poor endurance and lower level security. There are many similar approaches proposed by the researchers and academicians in the past for improving the drawbacks of the heterogeneous networks for promoting safety and reliability in the blockchain enabled transactions. This research work is proposing a polygon based clustering algorithm for large-scaled networks in a high-speed blockchain environment which uses evolutionary techniques and helps to save energy. This energy saving eventually assists in promoting the green environment missions of the nation and to reduce carbon footprints as well. In the initial phase, the heterogeneous network is divided into polygon areas, and a few cluster heads are deployed to cover the polygon area in uniformity. Then, the clustering index is introduced which is based on the similarity approach in the weighted clustering algorithm. In order to improve the overall performance and saving the energy of the networks, other factors such as the link retention rate, relative node degree and node residual energy ratio are also considered while selecting the network node with the maximum weight as the cluster head. In the last phase, the network security has been improved by reputation calculation. The results achieved from the proposed research show that the evolutionary mechanism based clustering algorithm can reduce the number of clusters and reduce the handover rate between clusters to improve the stability of clustering to enhance the survival time of the nodes in the network. The proposed research also improves the overall endurance of the network and makes the blockchain environment more stable.
