I believe my major brings me at least three important things.

??????? Firstly, it teaches me some fundamental ways to understand how the economic world works. For example, in the real world, economic phenomena are always intertwined（復雜的）. We shouldn’t analyse financial factors such as interest rate, stock price, and yield in isolation. We may interpret and analyse them roughly from the macro, meso, and micro perspectives, but we must always remember the endogenous logic among them.

??????? Next, it brings me a way of thinking based on common sense and mathematics. In the theoretical world, we can attach various assumptions and use rigorous mathematical derivation to obtain relations and equations. However, when facing the real world, we must use logic, common sense, and experience as well.

??????? Lastly, it strengthens my career plan in the financial field. Before studying it, my understanding of finance was limited to banks and insurance institutions. But after that, I became interested in entering financial institutions, participating in capital market operations, and serving companies. So other than enriching my knowledge, I also did several internships, all of which made my career plan clear.
