I went to the 3rd canteen with a smooth guy. We saw all the lights off there.

"There may be?sth wrong with the electricity supply."

Despite the out-coming heat waves, we still decided to walk in for our bae dishes.

We both went up to the noodles' section, and?as?usual, the canteen woman recognized me and asked me if I wanted the noodle soup. I nodded.

I couldn't tell why, but I just kept?staring at?the canteen woman during her business. Or to be more precisely, I must have done so?every time I ate here for?the past?whole fortnight.?

But even the canteen woman wasn't mean in offering food at all(that's exactly why I always purchase my meal from her!), today the offer was so much that we were totally amazed.

"Maybe students don't come here today, so there's too much left."

Woah, a nice farewell meal,?I thought.

But I didn't take it for sure that I wasn't going to eat here anymore, not to mention the canteen woman's words,

"See you next Tuesday."

But why Tuesday?

I couldn't figure it out, neither did the smooth guy.

The smooth guy and I didn't talked much on the table. It seemed that the NECC was such a?long-long-ago stuff?and all the highly-concerned topic including our dream cities and career plans had run out.

I wasn't?prepared when in ears came the canteen staff telling my cousin to raise his head. The poor boy had his nose bled, and with the staff's effort, he quickly got in contact with his father and were then sent home. I don't know whether I should consider him as unfortunate or fortunate, as I have never seen so many canteen staff surrounding a student like that, even carrying his schoolbag for him, no?different?from fans following stars.

The canteen staff seemed very nervous, while I just told?the stunned boy to do whatever he was going?to do.?

The smooth guy and I were confused about my cousin's returning?home for such nothing. However, every thing in the afternoon were just the same confusing,

Or it should start from the morning, when a junior-3?student said the school was going to end at 15:00.?Teachers making students to fix up the exam rooms itself was already strange enough, but what's worse, the exam rooms were arranged ?into nothing?like what I sat in 3 years ago.The only thing familiar was the noise made by junior students.

"You guys are graduates? Then what are you doing here?"

"Can't explan well. But you may know it yourself when you are in senior 3."

"Senior 3? I don't even know if any high school would?admit me!"

He laughed and turned around to his fellow students.

We couldn't understand all this. However, it suddenly struck me,

"The HSEE lasts until Monday. That's why the canteen lady told me 'see you next Tuesday'."

At that time we were informed the lessons were canceled for next day, so we both knew it—

No more lunch in the canteen.

"Sure I won't this summer vacation, but what about the following ones, when I return school to visit my teachers?"

"Who knows?if she still stays there then?"

Now?I have?to admit that I was staring at the canteen lady because I wanted to take a photo with her, but I didn't. So is it with Auntie Lin, honored as "the Most Beautiful Voice" in our school.

I wasn't?diligent?enough?to have heard Auntie Lin calling for lights out, but I did saw she cheering for us beside the passage towards?exam rooms, in the rain. I used to assume that she owes the same awful accent just like anyone at her age, so when the smooth guy talked to her, I was surprised to find out about her natural and fluent Mandarin.

Now students have gone,?the school keeper, Auntie Lin also left, what companied me was the empty, black teaching building. But I have to say goodbye to it too.

I heard someone talking about being the last one to leave the domitory, the classroom. And what about the whole school?
