習慣使用英語復合句或一些短句，使整篇文章看起來漢式英語味很濃。如果想把

漢語復合句變成英語簡單句，首先要學會把短句壓縮成一個短語，可以通過以下

幾種方式：非謂語動詞、副詞、同位語、動詞及形容詞的名物化等。

2.1 分 詞

分詞包括現(xiàn)在分詞和過去分詞，關于它們的使用，在前面已經(jīng)詳細探討過，這里

只是介紹在寫作中如何運用。

1. a）Yet all of history has taught us that if we deny these ulitmates and place man or

state at the core of the universe, the result is that everyone will become selfish. That

will paralyze everything. The first signs of it are already evident, and this is really

a）的寫法，漢語味較重，因為所用的句法單位級別基本和中文句法單位級別相同：

由于受漢語句法的影響，學生在英語寫作中首先想到的是句子。因此上面的句子

可翻譯成：

a）He crashed down on a chair which produced a protesting sound.

而英語可能只用一個分詞：

b）He crashed down on a protesting chair.

3.在我們學校里這一點表現(xiàn)為：教鞭消失了，心理老師出現(xiàn)了。

a）In our schools this is reflected by the fact the stick has vanished and the

psychiatrist has emerged.

b）In our schools this is reflected by the vanishing stick and the emerging

psychiatrist.
