University Offers Update February 2023

2023開門紅，我們在此很高興地和大家分享常州威雅十二年級(jí)學(xué)生們的大學(xué)錄取情況。盡管近幾個(gè)月來他們身處充滿挑戰(zhàn)的環(huán)境，但學(xué)生們的努力依舊得到了回報(bào)，收到了來自世界各地著名大學(xué)的錄取通知書。

We are delighted to share the outstanding offers that our Upper Sixth have received from world-class universities around the World. In spite of the challenging circumstances that they have faced in recent months, students’ hard work is being rewarded.

令人驕傲的是，常州威雅Turner學(xué)院的顧同學(xué)和陳同學(xué)，分別獲得了來自牛津大學(xué)和劍橋大學(xué)的錄取通知書。這份榮譽(yù)昭示了他們強(qiáng)勁扎實(shí)的學(xué)術(shù)功底，可喜可賀。

We are incredibly proud of all our students and the academic excellence they display. We would also like to mention G. Gu (Turner House) and J. Chen (Turner House), who have received offers from University of Oxford and University of Cambridge respectively this year, demonstrating their outstanding academic abilities.

截至目前，學(xué)生們已經(jīng)收獲了來自英國、美國、加拿大和澳大利亞等總計(jì)221份錄取通知書。這其中不乏多所全球知名大學(xué)。

Students have already amassed 221 university offers, including from the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. These include several of the top global universities.

錄取小結(jié) Highlights include:

超過80%的學(xué)生進(jìn)入世界排名前100的院校

Over 80% of students has been accepted by Top 100 universities.

25%的學(xué)生進(jìn)入世界排名前20的院校

25% of students has been accepted by Top 20 universities.

學(xué)生們收到了來自198份英國的大學(xué)錄取通知書。超過80%的學(xué)生收獲羅素集團(tuán)院校錄取，超過10%的學(xué)生收獲G5院校的錄取。

Our students have been in receipt of 198 exceptional offers across UK. Well over 80% of students get into Russell group, while over 10% of whom get admitted into G5 super elite.

此外，我們的學(xué)生們收到了不少來自美國的錄取，其中包括洛杉磯音樂學(xué)院、賓夕法尼亞州立大學(xué)和俄亥俄州立大學(xué)等公立常春藤院校。

The students have also received a several offers from prestigious North American universities. These include Pennsylvania State University and Ohio State University and the Los Angeles College of Music.

常州威雅致力于為學(xué)生提供廣泛的課程選擇，讓學(xué)生能夠盡情追逐自己的夢想和熱愛。學(xué)生們在藝術(shù)與音樂專業(yè)院校申請(qǐng)上的碩果也恰恰反映了這一點(diǎn)。學(xué)生們共收到39份音樂或藝術(shù)方向的錄取。其中，16份來自專業(yè)的音樂學(xué)院和藝術(shù)學(xué)院，如北方皇家音樂學(xué)院、美國MI現(xiàn)代音樂學(xué)院、紐約視覺藝術(shù)學(xué)院和倫敦藝術(shù)大學(xué)等。

The wide-ranging holistic education that we offer at WAS Changzhou allows students to follow their passions. This is reflected in 39 musical and performing arts offers in total received by our students, including 16 offers from conservatoires such as Royal Northern College of Music，MI College of Contemporary Music，School of Visual Arts and University of the Arts London.

學(xué)生們在大學(xué)專業(yè)申請(qǐng)上的多元選擇也映射出了我校強(qiáng)大的學(xué)術(shù)支持和踐行全人教育的豐富經(jīng)驗(yàn)。今年我們收到的大學(xué)錄取涵蓋的專業(yè)方向多達(dá)94個(gè)，如自然科學(xué)相關(guān)課程、工程、電子、金融相關(guān)課程、戲劇與表演、體育科技、規(guī)劃與房地產(chǎn)、社會(huì)學(xué)、設(shè)計(jì)、建筑學(xué)、插畫、數(shù)字媒體、全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展等。

The strong academics and holistic education at our school are also reflected by our students applying to study 94 different subjects. Students have received offers to study courses in Natural Sciences related courses, Engineering, Electronics, Finance and many other related courses, Theatre & Performance, Sports Technology, Planning and Real Estate, Sociology, Design, Architecture, Illustration, Digital Media, Global Sustainable Development and so on.
