I''ve never been so amazed, but also never been so cold. As an Australian, I found the -25 degree celsius temperatures particularly challenging, but this experience at Harbin''s Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival was SO SO SO WORTH IT! Would recommend a visit for absolutely anyone. If I can do it - so can you!?

Great city. Was in Harbin in 2010 in Dec. It was -30c at night amazing night scenery during the festival. Then took train to Yabuli ski resort 3hrs away. Was even colder there particularly with the wind slicing at your face at night. Amazing.
