【雅思口語 1-4月】短暫停留的地方 Describe another city

It would have to be?Chengdu, a city?located in Sichuan, China, best known for?its spicy foods. It’s also home to?the adorable giant pandas.
?
But I wouldn’t want to go there all alone. Instead, I’d ask my bestie Mary to join me. In fact, we’ve already fantasized about?getting super rich and buying a house there when we’re both old pensioners.
?
But for real, if I ever go there, I’ll definitely?drag her along, because life’s never boring with her. We’d talk nonsense?and crack jokes about whatever we see along the road. And then of course I’d have someone to split the bills?with, so that after the trip, neither of us will find ourselves in?too much of a financial strain.
?
There is a whole checklist?of things I’d like to do during my stay. But on top of that?would definitely be to try?all the local dishes, from spicy hotpot to Zhong dumplings. I’ve tried them elsewhere and I’ve always wanted to know what the most authentic Sichuan cuisine?tastes like. And I’m sure food enthusiast Mary would readily agree.
?
Our?itinerary would also include visiting the habitats of giant pandas, to have a closer look at those cute little balls. But most importantly, I’d like the short stay to be more spontaneous?and chill?as I fully enjoy the?slow-paced lifestyle?in Chengdu.
?
As much as I adore?the city, I wouldn’t want to stay there?for a prolonged period of time, as I’d be so homesick. Also as I was born and bred in the north, I’m not sure I can get accustomed to the hot and humid summer in the south where Chengdu is located.
?
But other than that, Chengdu is one of my dream destinations for a spring sojourn, with its food, adorable pandas and its?laid-back lifestyle.?
