今年五一期間，多名網(wǎng)友發(fā)文稱，在火車站遇到已經(jīng)購票但無法上火車的情況。

Many passengers complained on China's social media platforms that they had bought tickets in advance but were denied boarding by railway staff because of overloading—the result of some passengers buying short distance tickets but refusing to get off at their corresponding destinations.
很多乘客在社交媒體上抱怨稱，他們提前買了票，但是列車員以超員為由不讓他們上車，而超員的原因是部分乘客“買短乘長”的行為，即購買了短途車票，但是到站后不下車。

The country's railway operator said it will no longer allow train conductors to sell extended tickets to passengers who are already on board because the practice created overcrowding problems over the May Day holiday and was unfair to passengers who had booked tickets in advance.

由于補票導(dǎo)致五一期間火車超員，對提前買到車票的乘客不公平，中國鐵路總公司有關(guān)部門負(fù)責(zé)人表示將不允許火車售票員為上車乘客辦理補票。

“買短乘長”（boarding with short-distance tickets but traveling to farther destinations）本來是鐵路部門為滿足部分乘客臨時變更到站的需要而提供的應(yīng)急便利措施，這一類乘客可以在途中找列車員辦理補票手續(xù)（pay to extend their tickets）。

但是在出行高峰期，“買短乘長”行為增多則會損害提前購票乘客的合法權(quán)益，許多提前了很久買票出行的旅客反而耽誤了行程：

有網(wǎng)友指出出現(xiàn)問題的原因是，節(jié)假日車票需求量巨大，鐵路運力和管理跟不上去：

5月5日，中國鐵路總公司在其官微上回應(yīng)此事：

為確保鐵路運輸安全秩序，維護(hù)良好旅行環(huán)境，鐵路部門會根據(jù)客流情況，決定是否辦理越站補票手續(xù)。

The railway will decide whether to allow passengers to purchase extension tickets after boarding based on the current passenger numbers and the number of pre-sold tickets for the next station.

Passengers who insist on staying aboard but fail to pay for the extended trip will be charged an extra 50 percent of the extension ticket price upon arrival.
如果旅客沒有按規(guī)定補票強行越站乘車，到站后鐵路部門將加收已乘區(qū)間應(yīng)補票價50%的票款。
