Update 1.6 Patch Notes - April 15th, 2023 Main Additions: - Fasten your seat belt, because we have finally arrived in the Big Wave Beach! 20 new refreshing levels, with a lot of sea water. - New Big Wave Beach zombies! Tiki Tripper, Sea Spill and the Drowned Zombie, all of them ready to invade your beach. - Heart of the Sea is the EX gimmick this time! As plants will get a good advantage out of those, watch out for the zombies... they will gladly use those tiles to boost themselves! - Submerge-mint is our new and original Big Wave Beach plant, unlocked after beating BWB-VIII! With the new plants available on Big Wave Beach, you will be able to unlock a very... splashy mint. Wonder what she does? - Over 30+ new PvZ2 track added together with the current music we have, in-between new music and alternative mid-waves randomly appearing in our levels! Most of the new songs composed by Voup! - Starting from April 16th until May 3rd, get ready to fight a whole new universe... an alternate one you might say. When Worlds Flourish, our official crossover thymed event with PvZ2 Reflourished! Get the chance to fully unlock Cattail from this event! We will also run new Pi?ata Parties depending on what the other universe has sent to us... - Invaded Levels! Zombies took seriously the time-branching part, therefore it's time to change our plans. Three levels per each world, from Ancient Egypt to Frostbite Caves, for a grand total of 21 new remixed levels! Invaded Ancient Egypt is unlocked after WWX-X, Invaded Pirate Seas after FFX-X, Invaded Wild West after DAX-X and so on... - A new Breakroom set has been added! Enjoy even more minigames from what you played already in Frostbite Caves, Neon Mixtape Tour and Big Wave Beach... - New NMT veteran quests: Just Dropping By (already added in a previous CDN update on 1.5.2, now replayable on the world map) and The Final Countdown... all the jammers are jamming. - New faces are joining the Celebratory Carousel Crash: Assault Dove Zombie and Love Spreader Zombie! Their abilities are heartwarming. - 35 new costumes! Some are from vanilla PvZ2, some from our talented artists, some redrawn from the 2nd Art Contest hosted on our Discord, thanks for partecipating and congrats if one of your costume ideas got in this update! More of the contest winner costumes will be added in the next update. General Additions & Changes: - New title screen art! - Sandbox levels from the Travel Log are now replayable in the Timeless Avenue. - New animations for Void Orchid and her gravity spheres - you might have seen those already in Reflourished! - Brand new designs for Supreme Ra, Arch-Magician and his balloons - Corrected ash animations for Mystery Egg, both Reanimator variants and Birthday Cake Pharaoh - Dark Ages and Frostbite Caves note dialogue no longer has leftover vanilla lines - Destroying #feastivuscaketank in Celebratory Carousel Crash now adds it to the Almanac - Magnet-shroom will now steal a visible Bug Bot Imp head rather than an invisible one - Replicator's glasses fall off correctly again - Updated outdated TB-V dialogue - Yeti Hunt: coin rewards now more common - New sound effects for: - Lovestruck (on activation) - Reanimator Zombie (when damaged) - Fixed bug where Cardio Zombie sound effects would play during some Crossover Hits - Adjusted volume of some other new sound effects - Barrel Bane Barrels will now auto-break at the end of the level or 25 seconds after spawning - Fixed a bug where Jester and his holiday variants couldn't reflect Peanut projectiles - Fixed a bug where Breakdancer Zombies would not be affected by Crossover Hits - Teleportato Mine can no longer be planted on planks - Green Gold Rush sandbox no longer crashes - BWB CYS loop now begins later as intended - All Sandbox levels are now replayable through Timeless Avenue - New textures for Relic Pea and Relic Melon - Sporeshroom's True Shroom skin now has fixed textures Level Changes: - WW-X: Snow Pea replaced with Cabbage-pult, Lightning Reed's weight lowered - FC-X: Lightning Reed's weight lowered - TB-I: Fixed bug where the player could win without desteroying certain Plant Graves - FFX-V's dialogue updated to tell the player about the huge radius Sun Bombs affect - DAX-VIII: added 2 Plant Foods, minor wave nerfs - LCX-IX no longer bans multi-lane plants - Cycles: replaced veteran zombies with their normal counterpart - Celebratory Carousel Crash: - New firework layouts added to Summer Nights (and Days) Balance Changes: - Chomper can now reach zombies when planted right behind a Blockoli - Void Orchid can no longer transform most mechs - ALL Pro Statuses reworked! Lightning Reed: - Sun Cost: 75 -> 200 - Damage: 5 -> 10 - Lightning Chain: 8 -> 3 Dev Note: Yes, we get it. You all hate Lightning Reed. This is why we're semi-reverting him to his 1.0 stats - he will still deal well with chickens, imps and such but will no longer struggle so much against heavier threats. Electric Blueberry: - Fire Rate: 21.5s-23s -> 25s-28s Dev note: Berry was performing a little TOO well in BWB, so we're toning her down slightly. Grapeshot: - Grape Bounces: 12 -> 9 Dev Note: And Grapeshot was just too strong against everything in general. This won't hurt them too much in case of weaker zombies, but will for tougher threats. Power Vine: - Sun Cost: 200 -> 250 - Recharge: 7.5s -> 15s Dev Note: Self-explanatory. Blastberry Vine: - Recharge: 15s -> 7.5s - Plant Food effect buffed Dev Note: Self-explanatory. Also god, we don't remember the PF effect being this bad! Ice Bloom: - Sun Cost: 150 -> 125 - Freeze/Chill (full lawn): 5s/10s -> 10s/15s - Freeze/Chill (3x3): 10s/15s -> 15s/20s Dev Note: Ice Bloom was a bit too niche, so we're fixing that. Dandelion: - Attack Speed: 2.9s -> 2.4s Dev Note: Some of you told us Dande felt too unreliable, so we're patching that up. Blockoli: - Smash/zombie detection radius increased
