?@Fairy.Hunter._ I'm a rather lazy person, so I've simplified the process as much as I could.
All I do is focus on intention. Think of it like setting an alarm to wake up in the morning or leaving a sticky note to remember something.?
Before I attempt, I state where I want to go. I don't use methods, as for I find them extremely frustrating. But I do use a lot of visualization techniques.?
After stating my intention, I use the five senses to help me shift my awareness. Mostly sounds, the tempature of the room, and smell. (If you'd like, I'd recommend practicing grounding techniques. They make this process easier.)?
Then I just simply let go. I focus all of my attention on my DR. It's feels sort of like a deep meditative state, I block out everything around me. I let go of thinking about my old reality. All that exists in my mind, is my DR.
Then eventually the room changes and I shift.
(When letting go, you want to approach your DR the same way a kid feels the day before a field trip. All that excitement and focus on the trip ahead, that they can't sleep because of it. The only thing that exists in their mind are thoughts about the trip, nothing more.)

I love how straightforward this video is!?
Really the biggest problem for a lot of us beginners is overcomplicating something that we pretty much do on the daily. Only recently I began seeing subliminals as tools rather than necessities. And I knew they were tools, I told myself that, but I found out my subconscious was overlying on things that I could do without needing to listen to subliminals. I tested this yesterday after meditating to try and shift. I used part of the Julia method (really only visualizing and affirming), but listened to music I relate with my DR on repeat. It gave me infinitely more symptoms than some epsilon waves I listened to later. I even got more symptoms when I took off my headphones all together and just kept on affirming and visualizing, and I think I got really close as I felt as if I returned to my body when I opened up my eyes a little too soon. It felt wild.
