單簧管，又稱為黑管或克拉管，是木管樂器的一種。高音區(qū)嘹亮明朗；中音區(qū)富于表情，音色純凈，清澈優(yōu)美；低音區(qū)低沉，渾厚而豐滿，是木管樂曲家族中應(yīng)用最廣泛的樂器之一。

• 語言成績

所有國際學(xué)生都需要TOEFL成績， IBT也最好在80分以上。有一些學(xué)校73分以上就可以，當(dāng)然也有很多學(xué)校提供ESL課程，可以免除TOEFL或者IELTS成績。對(duì)于本科申請(qǐng)者來說，SAT達(dá)到中等水平就可以，不是所有學(xué)校都要，綜合性大學(xué)的音樂學(xué)院要求相對(duì)嚴(yán)格一些。

• 作品集

這是決定我們能否申請(qǐng)成功的重要一環(huán)，也會(huì)涉及到獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，助學(xué)金的發(fā)放，所以，演奏曲目一定要盡自己最大的努力準(zhǔn)備，越完備越好。大部分學(xué)校都是通過在線提交，但是也有部分學(xué)校需要郵寄DVD。

• 推薦信

申請(qǐng)音樂專業(yè)，一般學(xué)校都會(huì)要求3封推薦信，最好能從三個(gè)側(cè)面反映你的專業(yè)能力，文化水平，還有一個(gè)方面就是要展現(xiàn)你的個(gè)人特色。從文化概念上來說，美國跟中國的方向不一樣，那么概念也就不一樣了，如果能找到一個(gè)可以證明你專業(yè)能力的藝術(shù)家的簽名，對(duì)于我們的申請(qǐng)當(dāng)然是非常有用的。

• 個(gè)人陳述

在申請(qǐng)專業(yè)方向，要盡量結(jié)合自身的優(yōu)勢(shì)，將自己的專業(yè)能力，專業(yè)規(guī)劃都清晰明了的展現(xiàn)出來。向?qū)W校證明你是有能力的，并且符合學(xué)校的錄取要求。

• 面試

每個(gè)學(xué)校情況不一樣，看學(xué)校的具體要求而定?？梢允孪劝l(fā)郵件跟學(xué)校確認(rèn)，問清楚具體的細(xì)節(jié)，然后好好準(zhǔn)備就可以了。面試的時(shí)候要注意著裝以及精神狀態(tài)。面試對(duì)申請(qǐng)來說很關(guān)鍵，如果面試成功的話，一般會(huì)直接影響錄取結(jié)果，對(duì)于國際生而言，有條件的并有實(shí)力的學(xué)生建議盡量飛到美國去參加學(xué)校的面試。美國的音樂學(xué)院總體來說，申請(qǐng)截止日期比較早，一般10月份就開始申請(qǐng)了。所以打算申請(qǐng)音樂專業(yè)的小伙伴們，要提早開始準(zhǔn)備啦。

• 本科

It is highly desirable to use piano accompaniment for your repertoire. However, please put safety first during this pandemic. If you are unable to record with an accompanist, you will not be penalized; your recording will be given the same consideration as all other applicants.
· Two contrasting etudes or works for solo clarinet showing the applicant’s level of technical and musical ability.
· One major solo of the applicant’s choice. Must be performed from memory.
· Three contrasting orchestral excerpts.

• 研究生
